Since some call them Christmas tree/spruce/fir, while others call them New Year's tree/spruce, we will strike the middle variant and name them Christmas-New Year's fir, so that the wolf will be full and the goat whole. They are one of the first associations with Christmas and the New Year, and their common denominator is colorful and shiny decoration, which those with a little more imagination interpret slightly differently than the Veleva tradition.
