You've probably already heard that Baywatch, the cult series that made David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson famous in the 90s, will get a movie version in 2017. The title character, Mitch Buchannon, will be played by none other than Dwayne Johnson - The Rock (The Fast and the Furious), and the other girl magnet will be Zac Efron (Grandpa Runaways), who will jump into Matt Brody's swimsuit.
In the movie Baywatch, which director Seth Gordon is making after the extremely successful series from the nineties, they will appear in the main roles Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson – The Rock, who will revive famous characters. It will tell the story of a paramedic (Johnson) who has to work with an uncouth rookie (Efron) with whom they confront an oil tycoon, who wants to appropriate and destroy their workplace, i.e. the beach where they protect bathers. In the film, the place was also found for the former Miss World, an Indian woman Priyanka Chopra, the most prestigious female role, the role of CJ, that is the character she played Pamela Anderson, they trusted the model and actress Kelly Rohrbach, The latter will therefore also take care of men's sighs.

Although The Coast Guard is still in its infancy, Dwayne Johnson is on Instagram already posted some photos from the shoot film adaptations series that aired over the years 1989 and 2001. According to the director, they should focus more on action and rescue than on running on the beach in a swimsuit in a slow technique, which was a trademark of the TV series. The film probably won't be suitable for people under 18, because it will full of action and adult humor and according to Efron, it will not have much in common with the original. Whether the Coast Guard should stay in the 1990s, as Pamela Anderson believes, only time will tell. The film is supposed to hit the big screen May 19, 2017.
