Battery autonomy is 30 percent longer (for the current model it is 12 hours) and offers two working days of use (16 hours) between charges. Nevertheless, the Microsoft Surface Book did not suffer any 'losses' in terms of technical performance. Graphics processor (NVIDIA GeForce) is even twice as fast as its predecessor. Keeps touch screen, which can be detached from the keyboard and used like a tablet.

The basic model has 128 GB SSD of storage space, the most expensive package of the Microsoft Surface Book laptop with Intel processors of the seventh generation i7 and boasts of 1 TB large 'warehouses'. 10-point multi-touch screen boasts resolution 3000 x 1200 pixels (276 PPI, aspect ratio 3 : 2). It will be available from November 2016 further. Across the pond, it will be priced between $1,499 and $3,199.
