In Slovenia, more precisely in Hala Tivoli, on April 3, 2019 we expect a rock spectacle dedicated to the unique Freddie Mercury, the frontman of the biggest cult rock band Queen, where one of the best Queen tribute bands in the world, The Bohemians, and the 24-member Royal Symphony Orchestra will join forces Orchestra and superb soprano from New York, Lynelle Jonsson.
The Bohemians (Rob Comber - vocals, piano, acoustic guitar, Christopher Gregory - guitar, Wayne Bourne - drums, Kevin Goodwin - bass guitar) got together twenty years ago with a purpose recreating the glorious Queens – from the crazy 70s through the magical 80s of the last century. They wanted to prove to themselves and the world, which they succeeded in doing every time the most dynamic and exciting tribute band. The Bohemians can boast of performances in the UK, Europe and the rest of the world; both at festivals, stadiums and concert halls. They performed several times for the Queen Fan Club, and we heard and saw them here as well.
Royal Symphony Orchestra was established in 2000 to produce the musical Evita. Evita was represented in Europe for years, and later they also performed in plays and musicals such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Musical Classics, Abba and Sinfonie and Phantom of the Opera. The leader and founder is a world-renowned conductor, composer, and arranger Piotr Oleksiak. Piotr Oleksiak graduated from the music academies in Gdańsk and Warsaw, the Latvian music academy in Riga, and he perfected his talent and knowledge in Austria, Germany and the Netherlands. He has participated in the past with many world opera houses, philharmonics and theaters, he conducted many concerts, theater performances and musicals (Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Scrooge, From the Life of Musical Tailors, Phantom of the Opera, Fire of Dance, Musical Starlight, The Gypsy Byron, The Bat, The Magic Flute, Lolanta, Eugene Onegin, Nacht der Operette, The Show Must Go On and many others).
