In Dubai (where else!) they started building The Tower, which, when it is built, will be the tallest building in the world and will dethrone the skyscraper Burj Khalifa (Tower Khalifa), which was built in 2010 and is the title of the tallest building for a skyscraper Taken Taipei 101 back in 2008, when it was still growing. These days, the foundation stone of the futuristic tower, which will be built by 2020 or until the start of the world exhibition EXPO 2020, which will be hosted by Dubai.
The Tower is future the tallest building in the world, which has already taken root and is expected to outgrow the current tallest building in the world, a skyscraper Burj Khalifa, which measures 828 meters and which we knew from the beginning that it would not remain the highest forever.
The Tower also faces a similar fate, but when will it happen in 2020 once built, it will become the tallest building in the world, although it will exceed the 'shared' bojda by only a few meters (the height is not yet known). The same investor behind the project is behind the Burj Khalifa, so the record will remain in the family. It will stand in the bay Dubai Creek Harbour.

The skyscraper is the work of a Spanish-Swiss by the neo-futuristic architect Santiago Calatrava Valls, and the cost of building the tower is expected to exceed billion US dollars. Once built, it will have 360-degree viewing platform, glass rotating balconies, up to 20 floors of shops, a luxury hotel, restaurants, tourist attractions, gardens, etc.
