Burning tires (aka ''burnout'') is an attraction in itself, but in Canberra, Australia, at the 28th New Year's Eve meeting of WWE car owners, they took it to the next level. On the scene, 103 cars staged a simultaneous burning of tires and thus set a new Guinness world record, which enveloped not only the drivers, but also the spectators in a cloud of rubber.
Most tires are for burning on Summernats festival contributed eight-cylinder cars from the old guard (cars with a brutal front engine and rear-wheel drive) of the brand Ford and Holden, which is considered an Australian automotive living legend.
