Festinian Kingdom
The Feština Kingdom Cave, located in the heart of Istria, in the village of Feština, not far from Žminj, offers a fascinating view of the underground. Its interior is full of sinuous formations that, among other things, form the shape of a sorcerer's hat, a tower of Babel, and huge bat wings, which are covered with the root of a vine that is fed by the water at the bottom of the cave. The festival kingdom was given its name by children who, when asked by adults where they spent the day, answered: "In the kingdom." The entrance fee is 50 kuna (around 7 euros) for an adult, and 30 kuna (around 4 euros) for children. If you leave Ljubljana, you will have a good 2 hours drive.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BvHaszxjvR-/
The Plitvice Lakes are the oldest and largest Croatian national park. They have always attracted nature lovers with their incredible natural beauty. The park consists of 16 lakes in blue-green pastel color, which are connected to each other by waterfalls. According to legend, the Plitvice Lakes were created after a great drought, when people, animals and plants yearned for a drop of water. The people prayed and prayed, and then the Black Queen appeared in the valley with her majestic retinue and took pity on the inhabitants. Finally it rained, and it rained so long that lakes formed. Today, these beautiful lakes, in which the surrounding forests are mirrored, are part of the Unesoca World Heritage Site. The entrance fee of course changes depending on the season, but if you visit them before March 31, adults will pay 60 kuna (around 8 euros) for a ticket, and children from 7 to 18 will pay 30 kuna (around 4 euros). It will take just under 3 hours to reach the natural attractions from Ljubljana.

Veli Rat lighthouse, Dugi otok
The impressive lighthouse is located at the northwestern end of Dugi Otok, near Veli Rat. The 42-meter-high lighthouse was built in 1849 and is today the tallest lighthouse on the Adriatic. It is not only its height that makes it so impressive, but also its yellow facade, for which, according to oral tradition, 10,000 egg yolks were used. In the yard of the lighthouse is also the chapel of St. Nikolaja, where you can quickly come across a romantic wedding. The lighthouse also offers accommodation in an apartment. Krka National Park
The Krka National Park was created to protect the Krka River, which flows through the park. If you want a sea trip, then you can first go to Šibenik and then go a few kilometers northeast. When you reach your destination, you will be greeted by beautiful waterfalls, Roman remains, hiking trails and, if you're lucky, various animals, such as otters and some of the countless species of birds of prey that live in the area. Swimming in Krka, next to the popular waterfall Skradinski buk, is now severely limited due to the large number of visitors. Here, too, the price of tickets varies depending on the season - until the end of March, you will pay 30 kuna (around 4 euros) for an adult, and 20 kuna (around 2.5 euros) for children from 7 to 18 years old. It will take you about 4 hours to reach the Krka National Park from Ljubljana, so you might consider at least a two-day trip.

Trakošćan Manor, Croatian Zagorje
While the name of the castle is shrouded in mystery, if not lost, history can at least teach us that this fortress stood on this site as early as the 13th century. Of course, this is not evident from the current neo-Gothic style, which was created during the renovation in the 19th century, but originally, before it changed owners, guardians and its purpose, the castle was said to have been built as a Romanesque fortress. At the end of the 14th century, the castle was also owned by the Counts of Celje. Today, the castle houses a permanent museum collection that represents the life of the Croatian nobility throughout the history of Trakoščan, and the collection includes objects from the 15th to the 19th century. The immediate surroundings of the manor are designed as a landscape park, which together with Lake Trakošćan, meadows, trees and shrubs form a harmonious whole. If you want to see the park and the mansion, the ticket for an adult is 40 kunas (around 5 euros). It will take just under two hours to get to Trakošćan Manor from Ljubljana.
