Professionals in the field of architecture are usually involved in planning the construction of new structures on Earth. Since there have been speculations for many years that we might one day live on Mars, some of them have decided to cross the line.
Stephen Hawking warned humanity before death that the Earth would soon take revenge for the damage caused. If in the past we have always found a way out of crisis, we will not be able to escape from climate change, which brings many natural disasters. Earth so we will have to sooner or later to leave and populate other planets.
Architects from the TV show Mars, which is played on the program National Geographic, represent prototypes of habitats suitable for living on the 'red planet'.
A team of architecture and visualization experts wants to predict as accurately as possible what futuristic homes will look like. They designed it that way exterior as well as interior facilities.
For now, the creators have designed models of three residences: apartment for young businessmen, family home and luxury mansion. They focused mainly on lighting and protection from cosmic rays, radiation, cold and dust storms.
Apartment Mars
The one-bedroom apartment, which will cost £350,000 (€394,000), is aimed at individuals and couples. The latter will be able to walk through the tunnel to the common garden and work spaces.
Mars family home
Families will spend their everyday lives in the two-bedroom residence, which is estimated at £650,000 (€732,000). At first glance, the structure resembles an igloo. The Martians will have their own veranda and a road to drive to the garage.
Mars Manor
A luxury residence, the price of which is as much as 2.5 million pounds (2.8 million euros). Residents will enjoy a spacious home with a private garden and multi-purpose gym. They will also be able to have a garage in which there will be space for several vehicles.
The series is based on the book How we will live on Mars (How We'll Live on Mars), which he published Stephen Petranek. According to him, humans will land on Mars sooner than we think.
