Beemve's GS motorcycles are celebrating 30 years this year, and to mark the occasion, the factory made a special series of "30 Years GS" motorcycles in the color combination of blue, white and red, which are the colors of the BMW Motorsport unit. Back in 1980, the factory very bravely presented the R 80 G/S model for those times, with the designation G/S then meaning a cross between an off-road and road motorcycle (German: Gelände/Strasse) and not so much a sports SUV (German. Geländesport), as it is today. The R 80 G/S soon proved to be excellent and opened a new chapter in the development of motoring. The flagship of the GS series is definitely the BMW R 1200 GS Adventure, which can be safely said to be one of the best touring bikes, as it offers passengers both comfort when traveling on the highway as well as massive off-road capabilities when the highway runs out. For 2010, the factory improved the boxer engine so that it now develops 81 kilowatts of power at 7750 engine revolutions per minute. Otherwise, the aforementioned motorcycle underwent its general renovation in 2007, when a more powerful engine was installed, the seats and handlebar settings were improved. The rear lights were dedicated to LED technology, which made the engine even more modern. In 2008, the GS was given the Enduro ESA electronic suspension adjustment system, which enables easy adjustment of the suspension to both driving conditions and engine load.
