This is the reason why men en masse paint one nail in October

Don't be surprised if you see a man with one nail painted in October. In fact, congratulate him. Read what he is saying.

"I'm a man with manners."

"End violence against children, become men with manners," says the slogan of the campaign 'Polished man'. With one painted nail, men, among them many celebrities, announce in October that they are against physical and sexual violence against children and adolescents. This type of violence affects every fifth child by the age of 18!

An initiative for action 'Polished man' was given for the first time three years ago by an Australian non-profit organization YGAP. With the campaign, he wants to break the myth of masculinity and urge men to show the world that they have manners. As part of the campaign, financial resources are also collected to help children, victims of violence.

Every year, more men around the world join the campaign, including celebrities Chris Hemsworth, Tyler Blackburn, an Olympian Michael Klim and others. Chris Hemsworth posted a photo of himself with a painted nail on Instagram, s tags and invited to participate in the campaign Liam Hemsworth and Zac Efron. The trend has already swept the web.

The president of the organization came up with the idea for this kind of campaign YGAP to Elliot Costello during his visit to the organization Hagar International in Cambodia, where he met an eight-year-old girl Theo. She was physically and sexually abused in the orphanage for two years. Before he left, the girl drew him a heart and painted his nails blue.

Men, you too show your support for the campaign, paint your nails in October and show that you have manners. It costs nothing, and a message is worth a thousand words.
