Those who talk in their sleep curse a lot

A new study in France followed 232 adults who talked in their sleep. They found that the most frequently used word is "no" and that those who talk in their sleep curse a lot. Many participants simulated an argument or interrogated their imaginary victim while sleeping.

A study, which was recently conducted in France on 232 participants, showed that those who talk in their sleep curse a lot. The results showed that dialogues that individuals have in their sleep with an imaginary person are incredibly common aggressive. Men who talk in their sleep they curse more often as women, but most often individuals spoke up "no". When researchers compared sleep speech with everyday speech, they found that individuals in their sleep just They curse 800 times more often than awake people. Accordingly, the results showed very few polite words spoken – these appeared only 12 times out of 361 recorded sleep talks. But what do these discoveries mean? One of the possible explanations is that during sleep the individual returns to the level of a child, lowers retention, which leads to more aggressive speech.
