To him who never said to her – goodbye!

She realized that it was because of him that she learned something more about love and life. And she is grateful to him for that. Immensely.

When she met him, he completely charmed her with his friendly and not flirtatious messages. He was nice to her, it seemed to her that he was not like other men, but she was wrong. She believed he was different, even though there were a million signs telling her otherwise.

He knows now, she never meant much to him, never, not even from the very beginning. The little things should have convinced her not to fall in love with him. But of course they didn't. When they met, he didn't really impress her much, she just felt that he was someone she could love.

He was careless, selfish and indifferent. He disappeared for weeks at a time and put so little effort into the relationship. Then there were the times when he texted her every day and they planned times together.

What hurts her the most is that she believed when he was with her that he really liked her. She believed him because he mentioned things to her several times that she said casually, she believed that he was listening and understanding her.

He talked to her about everything, about his life, about things she believed he told only her.

And then he ignored her for weeks and reappeared in her life like nothing was wrong, like he never left.

He surprised her with the sweetest, most innocent kisses on the street, in a bar. Every time she was with him, she fell in love more, more deeply.

He was everything she wanted in a man; incredibly smart; launched; discovered.
Those times when she was with him were magical for her. But when he left, she felt like she was going to lose her mind because of his indifference.

He can't forget how loud his silence screamed that he didn't care at all.

Because of him, she is no longer the same, but not in a negative way. She became different, now she knows what she deserves!

She knows she deserves to be with someone who treats her as a priority and not an option. She knows she deserves someone who will love her every day, not just once in a while. She knows she deserves someone who will be with her through thick and thin. Someone who will simply love her the way she is.

She had never met such a person with the smile of love and the soul of the devil. She is grateful to him that he was the first and she believes that he was the last.

Thank you for helping her realize how much more she is worth and that she can't let her experience with him make her insecure. Thank you for making her recognize that she really is always optimistic and still believes in love and the right man.

Thank you for helping her realize what she really wants in love. It needs devotion and adoration, love and affection. She knows he loves himself too much to ever look at anyone the way she wanted him to.

Thank you for somehow forcing her to explore the depth and complexity of her being.

She realized that he was only human and that she cannot always protect herself or prevent herself from falling for people who are bad for her. No matter what, she wishes him all the happiness in the world, even though he couldn't give her either the time or the words.

She can't be mad at him because she feels sorry for him, she feels sorry for him, but she really wants him to do well. Someone who won't break him into a million little pieces. Someone who will be interested in every mundane detail of his life. Someone who will love him as he/she loves him.

All she had left was a memory. The memory of a person to whom he could not give his time, not even his words. Goodbye!
