Today is Healthy Breast Day!

Pink October is breast cancer awareness month, and on October 15th we celebrate Healthy Breast Day for the ninth year in a row. Members of the Slovenian association Europa Donna will dance today in Ljubljana, Slovenska Bistrica, Postojna and in Jesenice, and in this way mark the day of healthy breasts.

The Slovenian Europa Donna is also joining this year activities on October 15 - to the day of healthy breasts, promoted and directed by the European association Europa Donna. The European Union once again points out the importance of a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet, maintaining a suitable body weight and regular physical activity – everyday decisions, important for women's health. We are still insufficiently aware that we are responsible for our own health and that it is for all people as well as for cancer patients proper nutrition and physical exercise an indispensable part of maintaining health and quality of life. More and more research confirms that around one third of all breast cancer cases in Europe could be prevented by exercising and maintaining a suitable body weight. The European association Europa Donna also prepared a campaign on Healthy Breast Day this year - a healthy lifestyle for breast health "Healthy Lifestyle For Breast Health".
