The Cultural Embassy of Turkey takes us into the past in an interesting way, as the show Travelogue 2 echoes the work of Seyahatname - the words of a great Turkish traveler from four centuries ago. Through movement, words, music, image and play, the performance allows the performers and the audience to travel. The centuries-old travelogues of Evliya Çelebi and the notes of the modern nomad Elif Shafak intertwine with the modern choreography of Beyhana Murphy and the music of Burak Güven. Together they revive the images of dervishes, alchemists and travelers of the 17th century and take us on a multidimensional journey, including the world of cuisine.
