Adrian Thaws, better known as Tricky, returns to Croatia. He will also present his new project Skilled Mechanics and the album of the same name, which will be released on January 22, 2016, in Zagreb's Močvara.
After leaving Massive Attack, he did Tricky, which intertwines in its works hip hop and rock, and also high art and pop culture, with his album Maxinquay won the flattering title album of the year at NME magazine, while his debut album was nominated for Mercury Prize.
Exactly twenty years after the release of Maxinquaya's debut, the album that defined it trip hop genre and carried away the Bristolian sound around the world, Tricky remains one of the most respected and innovative musicians of our time. With a new project and album Skilled Mechanics opens a new chapter that began with his move to Berlin.

The specificity of the new material is Tricky's taking over lead vocals, which has been the practice since Adrian Thaws' last album (2014). The Skilled Mechanics album contains 13 songs, and the album was announced by a fantastic single Beijing to Berlin, in which Tricky shares the microphone with Japanese rapper Ivy.
