Ljubljana is the proud recipient of the 2019 Experts' Choice awards! Less than 2 % world attractions, hotels and restaurants receive the award, which gives the recognition that much more weight and represents an excellent promotion for Ljubljana. Twenty Ljubljana attractions, ten restaurants and 41 accommodation facilities were awarded with Expert's choice and Best of Ljubljana.
The selection of the best was made by a committee for the fourth year in a row based on the records of experts in the field of tourism in leading publications such as travel guides, magazines, newspapers and major blogs. The selection of winners in 2019 is based on more than 1.5 million reviews for 500 destinations around the world. With recommendations from publications such as Condé Nast Traveler, The Telegraph, Lonely Planet, Michelin Guide, Afar Magazine, Fodor's, Frommer's, Inside Guides and others were chosen as the best Ljubljana attractions Ljubljana Castle, NUK, Tromostovje, Town Square and the Ljubljana market.
The TripExpert 2019 Experts' Choice awards are proof that Ljubljana is a top destination.They listed as the best restaurants Restaurant Strelec, Pri škofu, Gostilna Na gradu, Gostilna As and Klobasarno, as the best hotels Vander Urbani Resort, Hotel Cubo, Antiq Palace Hotel & Spa, Grand Hotel Union and Adora hotel.
