The Triumph TE-1 is a prototype electric ʺmotorcycleʺ that has completed the so-called 3rd phase of development, which means that we will soon be able to admire it on the road.
Triumph TE-1 is approaching its final stage and thus closer to serial production. The so-called third phase of development has been completed, and with this we can soon expect an electric motorcycle on the market, with all its capacity and long-awaited ʺnumbersʺ. The motorcycle is based on Triumph's Street and Speed Triple models, and Williams Advanced Engineering and Integral Powertrain are also participating in the project for the development of the electric drive and transmission.
In addition to the electric performance, the TE-1 will be equipped with modern Ohlins RSU suspension and Brembo braking system. The software for controlling the electric motor and transferring its power to the road remains in the hands of Triumph. In the fourth phase, the various engine components are tested in real conditions on the road and the final test on the race track.
