Between August 10 and 16, the Tobačne area will breathe in the creative rhythm of the Urban Action festival, which will present various creative elements of jazz, rock, hip-hop, electronic and other urban subcultures to visitors in an innovative, youthful and accessible way.
In August, the Tobačna area will come alive for a week with a variety of cultural events: the Urbano dejanje (UD) festival will introduce visitors to Ljubljana's urban subcultures and their music. The festival events will start every day of the festival in the afternoon with cultural, sports and artistic activities. During the week, visitors will be able to visit a fair of young creators, as well as a flea market; workshops where they can learn more about graffiti art, DJ work and skating, as well as presentations by off-timers, tattoo artists and barbers.
In the evening it will be in the garden of the club ZOO followed by the main performance of the musicians, and after midnight the action will move to the interior of the club. The groups Muff and Elvis Jackson, Croatian rapper General Woo, Severa and Gal Gjurin, jazz musicians Ratko Zjaca, Vid Jamnik, Robert Jukič and Ratko Divjak and many other outstanding musicians and DJs will take to the festival stage.
Visitors to the UD festival will be able to get to know the local urban culture for free until 7 p.m., the entrance fee for attending the evening concerts will be 3 euros, and all-week tickets will be available for 15 euros.
