The Ducati family has a new member for the 2014 season – the Ducati 899 Panigale - a scaled down version of their flagship 1199 Panigale Street Racer.
899 Panigales from an Italian company Ducati, based in Bologna, is equipped with a “superquadro” engine that powers it 148 horsepower (109kW) at a capacity of 10,750 revolutions per minute. The beast weighs without fuel 169 kilograms and has many advanced features such as traction control, ABS, driving mode settings and an aluminum frame called "monocoque".
Model 899 Panigale was presented at the IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt, with the aim of surpassing Ducati's "monster line" of recognized models such as Diavel, Hypermotard and Hyperstrada.
