For many parents, Saturday morning is the only time to take a walk with their children, or to go to the store or have a coffee with friends. Most parents decide to go to shopping centers where they walk their children in shopping carts. At the children's theater Varietejček, they offer something completely different. Parents can leave their child every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at a theater performance in Varietejček in Kavarna Union, and they can spend time in another part of the cafe with friends or go shopping at the market. Our children will enjoy the Varietejčka program, and a pair of educators from the Sezam organization will take care of their safety and well-being at all times. Every Saturday of the month, after the end of the theater performance, which lasts for a good half an hour, children are offered creative workshops on a selected topic with Radolina Pobalina. Children will make objects related to the phenomenon under consideration. Cushions will also be prepared for children throughout the room, which are part of the scenography, which will simultaneously involve the children in the performance itself. Unlike classic children's theaters, the Varietejčka program is based on theatrical skits. These are plays that always have the same framework and characters, but the content and themes of each play are always different. In this way, parents will be able to bring their children to the performances several times and the children will follow a different program each time. In Varietejček, children can follow four series of theatrical content, each of which is connected to another art, and all have the same common thread, which is a book. The Varietejčka program thus consists of four program sections. The first section Music and poetry includes a musical theater sequence, and there is also the second section Word and drawing, where children will enjoy the telling of fairy tales and the presentation of Slovenian illustrators. The third section, Science and the Book, consists of theatrical sequences, while the fourth section, The Book and the Doll, is a puppet sequence based on the motifs of animal stories. Admission to all Varietejček Saturdays is free, but parents can also join them.
Every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Varietejček, Kavarna Union, Miklošičeva ulica 1, Ljubljana
