Vespampère is a free interpretation of the classic Vespa by the Italian designer Giulio Iacchetti. It has a modern electric motor and a forward-leaning seat reminiscent of the original 98 cc scooter model from 1946. The Vespampère has a light and dynamic design that took its inspiration from the slim Vespas ridden by actors in neo-realist films.
The shape of the most famous scooter in the world is based on a design achievement by Giulia Iacchetti. He developed a model that is connected to tradition and at the same time represents a slim and ecological scooter, which offers better agility in bumpy city centers. In contrast to the latest generations of Vesps, which were a little bit fatter, all the extra weight and cover was with the Vespampère removed.
Minimalistic, the lightweight version of the scooter has ditched the typical 'shell' around the internal combustion engine as it simply doesn't need it as the electric motor takes up quite a bit of space less space. All data such as speed indicator, battery status and light status are managed via applications on a mobile phone via wireless connections. We insert the phone into the designated place, which is, in addition to everything else waterproof, so worries about rain are completely unnecessary. In the mirrors they hide the direction indicators and the brake levers are designed completely in harmony with the scooter's handlebars. We can't really fault the elegance of the Vespampère and we'll see how it goes gracefully we use it to transport around the city.
