Autumn in Vienna is dedicated to films and the Viennale film festival, which this year will take place between October 19 and November 2 at various locations around the Austrian capital. This year, Hollywood actor Christoph Waltz will be the main guest of this largest Austrian film festival.
At the film festival Viennale 2017 an important place will be occupied this year by the selection of films Christoph Waltz. Viewers will be able to watch, among other things Infamous bastards (Inglorious Basterds, 2009), Massacre (Carnage, 2011) and Django Unchained (Django Unchained, 2012) and older productions such as They stand on their heads (Kopfstand, 1981) or The story of Roy Black (Du bist nicht allein – Die Roy Black Story, 1996). The festival program will include about 200 films, tickets will be available from October 14.
On October 24, in honor of the Waltz, an event will be held in the Gartenbaukino cinema reception and conversation with him. This double winner of the prestigious Oscar award also has Elisabetha Urbančič as her mother Slovenian roots.
