Vintage Apple sneakers now up for auction

In the early 1990s, Apple introduced its first color desktop computer, the Macintosh Color Classic, and nothing has been the same since. However, few people probably knew that at that time Apple also produced a prototype pair of sports shoes with the Apple logo in rainbow colors. They were initially sold to an employee of the company, who then resold them on eBay in 2007 for a meager US$79. Then the trail of them was lost.

As long as they are not a friend Leon Benrimon, director of contemporary art at Heritage Auction, found on garage sales somewhere in San Francisco. June 11 will begin auctioning this unique (and the only one) a pair of slippers with a special price 13,300 euros. But they expect to make a profit at least once the higher amount. It is basically leather Adidas tennis shoe numbers 40, which has a typical appearance from that time. They are white in color and on language and on the side they wear Apple logo.

Because of these slippers, Heritage Auction decided to launch conceptual action "The Future Is Now”, which contains, in addition to the aforementioned slippers, many other collectibles, such as surfboards, bags etc.
