Vivo has announced a new Nex smartphone. The device, with which the Chinese company wants to oppose a more reputable name, is otherwise based on the concept for the Apex phone. The creators presented the latter at the World Congress of Mobile Technology, which took place in February.
Nex convinces at first glance with bezel-less screen. At the same time the phone it doesn't have a notch, and it is especially unique for the sake of it selfie cameras, which peeks out of the phone's case when in use. The screen represents just 91,24 % surface of the front of the phone.
Instead of an in-ear speaker, the Nex uses technology Screen SoundCasting, which uses vibrations to emit sound. Mobile can boast of built-in fingerprint sensor, which belongs to the third generation of sensors and boasts a high operating speed.
The new phone is powered by a processor Snapdragon 845. It is on read-write memory 8 GB space, while it is intended for storage 256 GB space. 6.59-inch OLED screen displays content in resolution 1080p. The rear camera consists of two lenses with resolution 12MP respectively 5MP, while the front camera captures images at resolution 8MP. By modern standards, the Nex can be described as a huge phone, as it weighs 199 grams, and its thickness is 7.98 millimeters.
Vivo Nex is the perfect device for people who are excited about bezel-less phones. Unfortunately, it will only be available in the Chinese market, where buyers will be able to get it at a price 4998 yuan, which translates to 662 euros.
