Volkswagen ID. The Xtreme is a concept vehicle based on a test example of the upcoming VW model ID.4 GTX. With the concept, they want to explore the possibilities of factory conversions and accessories that could be available to customers in the future.
The concept Volkswagen ID. Xtreme is based on the ID.4 GTX model. It has four-wheeled drive and 285 kW of power. Compared to the ID.4 GTX production model, it has more ground clearance and is fitted with rugged off-road shoes 18-inch tires. The modification of the front bumper makes the Xtreme model more robust, 50 mm wider front tracks contribute to the "off-road" look.
Additional ones can be found on the roof of the concept car LED lights, and the entire bottom and lower part of the front bumper are protected by aluminum ones plates. According to Volkswagen, they have also developed a special one for the Xtreme model ʺoff-roadʺ sound, produced by the sound generators in the wheel housings. The interior offers Alcantara inserts, new seats and orange contrast upholstery. The concept should remain a concept, as it is currently mass production is not foreseen.
