Volkswagen kept its promise and presented a larger version of the Tiguan at the Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS 2017) – the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace, which is 21.5 centimeters longer than the classic Tiguan and can carry seven passengers. In Slovenia, the medium-sized SUV will be available in September 2017.
Medium-sized SUV Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace is an extended version of the model Volkswagen Tiguan, compared to which it is longer by 21.5 centimeters. It is also extended by 11 centimeters Wheelbase, which opened the possibility for an additional pair of seats. Rear passengers got a bigger dose of knee room (the rear bench has six centimeters more legroom), and the Allspace gained a lot more than the Tiguan larger trunk (615 liters, which is 115 more than its smaller brother), which with the sixth and seventh seats folded 730 liters volume, without the second and third rows, this amounts to a hefty sum 1770 liters (that's 295 liters less than the Škoda Kodiaq).

Seven seats will be fitted as standard on the two-wheel drive model, and will be available for an additional charge on the four-wheel drive version. The Tiguan Allspace also differs from the classic Tiguan in its mask larger side windows and longer roof lines. Under the hood, the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace will harness familiar models, starting with 2-liter TSI gasoline engine and 1.4-liter TDI gasoline engine, which will be capable of 145 hp. They are automatic for all engine variants DSG gearbox and four-wheel drive standard, and for the mentioned entry-level models at an additional cost. The Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace will have three equipment packages, namely Trendline, Comfortline and Highline. He was supposed to drive to Slovenian car dealerships September 2017, and merchants will part with him for around 30 thousand euros.
