After studying the super-performance Golf, VW confirmed the serial production of the Golf R400.
Although it was initially rumored that “super golf", which hides a four-cylinder two-liter engine under the hood TSI- aggregate from WRC VW pole with 400 horsepower remained only a concept, but the bosses at VW have now confirmed the arrival of a production model.

On the outside, it can be recognized by: a wider body kit in the form of extended bumpers, spoilers and sills, a black roof, side mirrors made of carbon fiber and 19-inch wheels. Beneath the surface, there are also: a more powerful braking system, an exhaust system with two centrally mounted tailpipes, and the interior is dominated by Alcantara, leather and carbon fiber details.

VW Golf R400 power is transmitted to all four wheels by means of a dual-clutch gearbox DSG. The hundred on the speedometer is covered by v 3.9 seconds, the top speed is electronically limited to 280 km/h.
