Every year at the end of November, Podkoren near Kranjska Gora is occupied by the scary parking lot, and this year will be the same. The increasingly popular event, the Parkeljnov Three Lands Walk, which is accompanied by a fire spectacle, is growing into a real festival.

The tradition of parkeljni, terrible black men who go from house to house and scare children, dates back to pagan times, when these evil spirits became companions and helpers of St. Nicholas. In accordance with Christian values, the saint gave gifts to hard-working children, while the park ones scared the naughty ones. The organizers have turned this old tradition into a real spectacle that attracts more domestic and foreign tourists every year. See glimpses of last year's events.
