An important theater festival begins this year, as in subsequent years, on World Theater Day. Among the novelties of the festival is a new prize, which will be awarded to the best young playwright. We will follow 8 performances in the competition program and 5 performances in the accompanying program, which attracted this year's selector Amelia Kraigher. These are works that attract fans of the stage with their aesthetic and message diversity. In Prešeren's theater Kranj, we will once again see Life®ante directed by Miha Nemac, Revelations by director Janez Pipan, I, after whom Ljubljana can be named - poker by Ivica Buljan, Pohujšanje v dolini šentflorjanski by Vito Taufer, Who alone travels through the world until evening directed by Nede Rusjan Bric, The Story of a Delicious Corpse by Primož Ekart, Flowers in the Autumn by Marek Čeh and Who is Next by director Janez Janša. As can already be seen from the names of the directors, these are plays that represent the pinnacle of Slovenian drama.
