The second largest festival of Slovenian theater production, this time, in the selection of Amelie Kraigher, accepted some stage works that were not produced in the largest domestic theater institutions into the competition program. Eight works were among the best of last year, among which is the author's project of Simone Semenič and Barbara Kapelj Osredkar entitled Kapelj and Semenič v stavetva. Other plays, such as Herman Schwarz and Veronika Wald produced by the Margareta Schwarzwald Institute and Glej ali Potohodec theater directed by Zala Sajko from the Ljubljana AGRFT, touch on less intimate material, but still represent a certain departure from the usual theater repertoire. As a result, the mentioned projects received less media attention last year. We could also include Dancing in the Rain by Dominik Smolet, Boštjan Hladnik and Nana Miličinski, directed by Matjaž Berger, or Exercises for Anxiety by Vinko Möderndorfer, directed by Jak Andrej Vojevec. Among the most popular, we will not overlook the Slovenian classic Veliki brilianni walček, Rokovnjačev or Shocking Shopping. The competition program will be accompanied by five more performances, interesting due to their contemporary themes, mostly related to domestic conditions. In the international program, the organizers are planning eight visits to foreign theaters, but among them there are quite a few texts or creators of Slovenian origin: Simona Semenič from 5fantkov.si, Evald Flisar from Kaj pa Leonardo, the play Šakuntala, Tristan and Isolde and Eleventh Planet. Among the Slovenian authors interesting for foreign theaters is Vinko Möderndorfer with the drama Three Sisters.
