In Maribor Puppet Theatre, this weekend will be marked by two award-winning performances for adults - Salto Mortale and Proces or Sad Story by Josef K.
Puppet Theater Maribor also extends the theater experience for youth and adults with special events. On Friday, an award-winning performance will be shown Salto Mortale director and author of the visual image Silvan Omerzu. The performance is at this year's 7th biennale of Slovenian puppet makers received the award for best direction and also the award for original text (Nebojša Pop Tasić).
On Saturday, there will be a show Process or The Sad Story of Josef K., whose author and director is Matija Solce. At this year's 7th Biennale of Slovenian Puppet Makers, the show won the GRAND PRIX prize for the best performance, and at the 8th PIERROT International Puppet Festival for Adults in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria in September 2013, it won the prize for direction.
A weekend of award-winning performances and will also offer visitors a conversation with the creators, which will bring closer and shed light on the making of the puppet show, introduce the creators and open up opportunities for interaction, cooperation, and learning.
