H&M entrusted the shooting of its Christmas ad this year to film giant Wes Anderson, the director behind films such as The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Magnificent Tenenbaums, The Wonderful Fox and Life Under Water. It is a short film starring Oscar winner Adrien Brody.
Wes Anderson and H&M joined forces and recorded the Let's Get Together Christmas ad, which will be for you warmed the heart like a winter sweater on a cold winter day.

The story of the ad takes us on a snowy train ride through a snowy landscape on Christmas Day, with Adrien Brody playing the conductor. This has the thankless role of informing passengers that bad weather conditions have disrupted their plans and they will miss the holidays with their loved ones. But that doesn't stop strangers on the train from conjuring up a beautiful Santa. "A winter train ride directed by Wes Anderson is the perfect backdrop for H&M's holiday collection, full of relaxed and wearable chic pieces. Relaxed pieces of clothing perfectly coincide with special occasions, be it formal holiday parties or cozy gatherings with your loved ones," explains Pernilla Wohlfahrt, creative director and head of design at H&M. The story in the film is all the more resonant at a time when you should hug a stranger on the street several times and wish him happy holidays. You agree?
