Where to go on February 8, 2020, Prešeren's Day, the Slovenian festival of culture?

February 8, 2020 is just around the corner, when the temples of culture will open their doors again, offering free tours. Where to celebrate Prešeren's Day, the Slovenian festival of culture, this year?

Where can you go for February 8, 2020?

February 8, the day he said goodbye to us in 1849 dr. France Preseren, is traditionally reserved for culture, which is why the name Slovenian cultural (and national) holiday sticks to it. We are already celebrating Prešeren's Day since 1945, but it became a day off only after independence. However, if February 8 in 2020 falls on a Saturday, there will be nothing from the day off. But nothing happens. Instead of regretting, look at how you can get the most out of the celebration of Slovenian culture and the memory of France Prešeren.

They will present themselves on the streets of Kranje many artisan masters of domestic and artistic crafts, they will hit choirs, Prešeren's poems will be recited, they will spin folklore groups, they will play linemen and townspeople will be walking around the town in typical town clothes.
