Where this weekend #6/2015

It will be winter and cultural. But we will chase away the winter with the currents, so it will only be colder. Wondering where to go for the weekend? The answer is in the palm of your hand...

Friday

Even though we are threatened with a blizzard, let's not give up! But maybe high above Lake Bohinj, on Vogl, it will clear up and we will be able to enjoy the full moon hike. That's right, not only bad weather is predicted for us on Friday, but also the influence of the full moon. So that she won't carry us around too much, we wave her to the Ljubljana club ZOO for a traditional tribute To Bob Marley – RootsInSession & Friends present: Soul Rebel III. Exactly on February 6, exactly before the 70s, the legend of reggae and the unstoppable fighter for freedom - Bob Marley - was born.

Saturday

Once there's enough snow, it's enough. At least for this season. Saturday promises a unique opportunity to chase away the winter, as it will be held in Ptuj Kurentovanje 2015 or international carnival festival. It is the most high-profile and massive cultural-ethnological event in Slovenia and Central Europe.

If we are in that part of Slovenia, we can also stop in Murska Sobota, where between 10 am and 1 pm we are invited to the Castle courtyard for the 33rd Mikkovo senje, or bolšjak. Our post office can also be Maribor in the morning. At 10 a.m., a puppet show will be staged in the Maribor Puppet Theater Baptism near Savica. Just the right introduction for Sunday's Prešeren Day.

In the evening, we move from Styria to Notranjska. They will be in Gabrijelo in Cerkno 20. 2015 Celtics, the traditional Slovenian cultural holiday, the ŠKM band, Izštekani Hexenbrutal and DJ Abstract Truth were fine-burning.

Sunday

This Sunday will be cultural in the true sense of the word. Excursions will have to wait this weekend, as many museums, galleries, city libraries, castles and other institutions open on Prešeren Day. So where to on Prešeren's Day?
