We've all been waiting for such a sunny autumn weekend, haven't we? But be careful - the weekend brings not only early autumn warmth, but also plenty of interesting nostalgic events.
Friday
This Friday we start in Gorizia, Italy, where they are returning for the eleventh year Flavors on the border, which are considered one of the biggest culinary events in our vicinity. This year, Brazil and Eastern Europe are joining the delicious tastes that will take us on a cloud of tastes, smells and colors into a culinary weekend. We are also invited to the other end of Slovenia, to Celje, where the retro, vintage festival *Od uchiri* starts at 3 pm in the atrium of Krčme TamKoUčiri. Over the course of three days, this will provide, among other things, nostalgic workshops for children, dance workshops for adults, we will refresh ourselves with nostalgic cocktails, buy, sell, barter at the Vintage market, paint our bodies, party and on and on.
We will wish that Friday never ends, because the evening will be reserved for juicy musical rhythms. In the Stožice Hall we will spin with Il Divo, the world-renowned and most successful classical crossover band, which will stop here on the way through the A Musical Affair world tour, and not far away in Ljubljana's Cvetličarna, they will perform for us on the 5th anniversary of their death Michael Jackson was treated to a concert spectacle - to imitators of the king of pop, who goes by the name of Navi, and was hired by Jacko himself for his performances.
Saturday
Saturday will definitely not be black and white either. As early as nine in the morning, we can join the runners on the Vogel mountain run or take a sunny trip to Vienna, which will put on a fashionable vintage disguise. This weekend, the Austrian capital is the center 3. Vintage Salona, where, in addition to fashion and design for fans of nostalgic products, we will witness an exclusive retrospective of the creations of the Italian stylist Gianfranco Ferre. After Friday's exciting dance, we can treat ourselves to a movie night this way. In Kinodvor they play romantic drama Alabama Monroe, and in the Coliseum, the long-awaited sequel to the cult film City of Sin - City of Sin: A Woman to Die For.
Sunday
Lovers of the whole period of the Middle Ages will come to the open-air living museum on Sunday at their own expense. At 10 a.m., Medieval Day begins in the capital on the upper square, where we will admire knights fighting, listen to medieval music, enjoy the antics of the court jesters, or make a medieval souvenir in creative workshops.
