The group was formed on the initiative of David Coverdale, a member of the band Deep Purple, back in 1978. In the early years of their existence, their music was based on the elements of blues hard rock. They had many top guitar talents in their ranks, including Adrian Vandenberg, John Sykes, Vivian Campbell, as well as the legendary Steve Vai. In the eighties, the group was very active and earned the status of a cult rock group. Hits like Is This Love, Here I Go Again, Still of the Night and many others, have become almost nationalized. Despite the success, the lineup within the group changed over the years. The musicians changed, but the music remained high-quality and full of energy. This spring, the guys released their new album and called it Forevermore. It will also be presented to us in Ljubljana, so we can see for ourselves whether the excellent reviews from the professional public and fans are justified.
