Everyone has probably heard of pin-up girls and the style that can often be seen on TV and in movies; Internet websites are also flooded with photos of the first and current pin-up models. A seductive dress and high heels still represent elegant classics and seduction, so many girls want to imitate the glamor embodied by Marilyn Monroe, among others.
Pin-up style, which really flourished in the 1950s, declined in the 1960s and gave way to different fashion and lifestyle styles. Its decline may be due to the excessive appearance of pin-up girls in advertising and popular culture, because they are people have become accustomed to these images, which no longer represented something special; so were pin-up photos part of the sex industry, whereby the meaning of the art of seduction was lost, and more appeared realistic and unambiguous depiction.

Today, people are returning en masse to the past, to past fashion and lifestyles, which in the light of today's changes seem to many to be idylls (the 1950s have always been called "golden age"). In the light of nostalgia, pin-up is also returning: the art of seduction, which is presented to new generations and is becoming more and more appreciated as an elegant classic from the past. A talented photographer Marianna Anagnostopoulou she created a wonderful series of pin-up girls and some of the photos are already known to you.
