When at least they wouldn't: look what creatures they found at the bottom of the ocean!

Sometimes it feels like going into space to explore environments no one has been to before. But really, it is enough to go to those parts of the sea waters that are in eternal darkness... And you will find these creepy creatures.

An international team of scientists embarked on the first research in the world in which they studied marine biodiversity in deep waters off the east coast of Australia. There is a very limited environment at the bottom of the ocean that is at the same time the largest and deepest habitat on the planet, as it covers half of the world's oceans and a third of Australia's territory, but is considered the most unexplored environment on Earth.

The area that is in eternal darkness, is deep between 4000 and 6000 meters, and its temperature varies between 2 and 3 degrees Celsius.

The researchers were divided into two shifts (2:00-14:00 and 14:00-2:00) - with the equipment they reached almost 5 kilometers deep into the waters, and on board their vessels they brought around 100 different species, is among these Friday, which have never been discovered before.

After the end of the expedition, they started processing the catch, which includes separation of different types, photographing creatures, obtaining muscle samples for DNA analysis etc. This expedition will, according to scientists improved our understanding of the deep sea. All finds are exhibited in museums. This is what they look like.
