How many times a week should you jump between the sheets for optimal health and happiness? Science has an answer, and it might surprise you! So much love prolongs life.

In a world where 'more' is often synonymous with 'better', it seems it is once a week perhaps the new standard for love relationships. And no, this is not an excuse for those who are too busy (or too lazy) for more frequent love sessions!

Scientists with University of California have surprised us with their latest findings. After a week of observing the sexual life of more than a hundred women, they came to an interesting conclusion. Women who had sex at least once a week had longer telomeres. For those of you who are not biologists – telomeres are like the little caps at the end of yours DNA, which prevent your cells from aging too quickly. So once a week extends life.

Now, before you start thinking that this is an excuse for laziness in the bedroom, listen to this: Another study found that the ideal frequency of making love may not be as high as you think. In fact, once a week may be the magic number for overall relationship happiness.

Why? Because quality always beats quantity. And while once a week may seem like a bit much, it might be just the thing to keep your spark and health up.

And now, for the humor part: if you thought your laziness in the bedroom was a problem, thank science for giving you the perfect excuse! But, hey, if you want to make love more than once a week, that's fine too. Just don't forget the telomeres!

In a world where everything is fast and constant, maybe it's time to slow down and value quality over quantity. And if that means we only make love once a week, then so be it. Your telomeres will be grateful, and your partner might be too!
