Women give and give and don't expect much in return. They often seem to settle for the bare minimum, and sometimes the only standard their partner meets is that they exist in their lives.
Only that they are not alone.
Why do they do this? Why do they forget themselves, their needs and demands and agree to anything just to be loved?
what kind of love is this if it is expressed through bad behavior, irresponsibility, disrespect, selfishness, exploitation, emotional detachment, infidelity?
Why do they accept crumbs and tolerate mistreatment out of fear?
Fear that they won't be alone, fear that they won't find someone better. Fear of the unknown. Fear of being judged by society if they don't marry and start a family. Fear of constant new beginnings.
They perceive a breakup as a failure. They tolerate misbehavior in a relationship until they can no longer ignore it and are led to the decision to save their own lives.
If this is not the case, they remain in the relationship until they experience such fear.
And when they part, they still wonder if they did everything to save the relationship. They find it difficult to see and accept the benefits of solitude.
They do not understand that when they are alone, single, they can make changes and upheavals in their lives. To be able to figure out what they want, develop self-love and self-respect. They set boundaries.
They decide to never settle for a toxic relationship again. They gain insights, knowledge and wisdom that will help them have healthier and more fulfilling relationships in the future.
Everyone has their own canvas on which to draw a sketch of their life, with new criteria, what he wants and what he will not accept in the next relationship. He can change his mindset and recognize the power he has over his decisions. The responsibility he has for himself and his happiness and well-being.
He can learn to love on his own terms. He can choose respectful love over any relationship, avoiding loneliness and feelings of inadequacy.
If he refuses to accept mistreatment, he can begin to treat himself better and value himself more, and understand that being alone is better than being in a bad relationship.
