The final show of the American Dream Builders series was broadcast last Sunday on the American television network NBC. The concept of the reality show was based on a competition between established interior designers who, week after week, struggled with renovations of various types of buildings. The show served up very interesting spatial solutions, innovative 'do it yourself' projects and dramatic arguments between the contestants, and the convincing winner is the designer of Polish origin, Lucas Machnik.
In the final, they each battled it out with their house on the Pacific coast for the grand prize, worth a quarter of a million dollars. builder Jay Riordan and designer Lucas Machnik. While Ray opted for more conservative design solutions, Lucas was much more daring in design and confidently stuck to his design expression.
The end result was completely in line with his aesthetic and, as expected, brought him a big win. A minimalist house shocked the jury and the owners with her black facade and enchanted with a bright, fresh interior. The rooms are distinguished by Lucas' masterful combination of materials and textures, color minimalism and a multitude of furniture pieces that he made with his own hands. A collage of selected pieces of furniture creates a feeling of homeliness and invites you to enjoy yourself accompanied by the sounds of dark waves.
