Are you into flowers in your hair? The hottest trend this spring is roses in the hair. And not just any roses, but roses that are created by braiding smaller braids, which are then arranged in the shape of roses.
She came up with an idea Alison Valsamis, a hairdresser from Fairfield, Connecticut. The hairstyle of this spring it may look very challenging, but thank goodness Alison explained the process thoroughly in an interview with Allure.
“To create the roses, I start with a smaller triple braid that I wrap behind the center of the rose. I then vary between a standard herringbone braid and a dutch braid to create depth. I finish with a triple dutch braid that I wrap around to create the feeling of a rose in bloom.”
