Women's shoes for spring 2021 predict above all comfort, but they are also stylish.

Spring is already knocking on the door, and with it, so are the trends women's shoes 2021, which we will not get tired of this spring and which we are sure will be on our feet from spring to autumn. Among other things, clogs are coming back this spring (yes, you read that right), and massive comfortable sandals and retro sneakers, which this time get a slightly more polished shape, remain in trend. Flip-flops will also have their five minutes of fame this year, a trend that divides fashion experts.

Clogs

The favorite Scandinavian shoe inspired by the 1970s is making a comeback, as evidenced by the spring collections of Hermès, Sandy Liang and Stella McCartney. These comfortable shoes can be paired with everything from high-waisted mom jeans to dresses. And don't be afraid of "funky" models, try bright colors or animal patterns.

Shoes with chain details

Whether it's flip flops, espadrilles or mules, chains - thick or thin - are a great way to add a touch of flair to any outfit. Chains can be e.g. on the front of the shoes, as in JW Anderson flip flops, or around the ankle, for example, as in Bottega Veneta. Pro tip: If your shoe chains are chunkier, stick to dressier silhouettes like silk dresses or a classic fit to keep your gear from looking overdone.

Massive sandals

In the past few years, practical footwear has come back into fashion, including Teva sandals. Other brands have since released their own versions of the chunky sandal, including Chanel, Anna Sui and Boss. Keep the rest of the look light, but choose better fabrics and luxe details such as sexy knit dress with gold metal belt.

Retro sneakers

Think Onitsuka Tiger sneakers rather than chunky sneakers from the 90s. This year, fashion connoisseurs are opting for more streamlined tracksuits, elegant anoraks and sporty pieces with vintage vibes rather than tracksuits and massive "daddy" sneakers with thick soles. Lacoste and Gucci showcased their retro sneakers paired with oversized dresses, but these styles will look just as good with cut-off jeans and an oversized blouse.

"Platforms"

This style is great for a number of reasons: it has the shine and height of other heeled sandals, but it's more casual and, above all, more comfortable. Flatforms look great paired with floral maxi dresses. We will probably wear this from April to September.

We won't lie to you, we have mixed feelings about this trend. However, we cannot deny that comfortable flip flops and flip flops with small heels were presented in several collections on the catwalks for spring/summer 2021, which we could already see on popular influencers. To avoid looking too casual or like you've just stepped out of a pedicure, look for styles with a more substantial structure and choose luxe materials like leather and thicker soles. For a really trendy and upgraded look, pair them with skirts or dresses, but never with tracksuits, shorts or jeans.
