WOODBOX, a wooden box, went on an international tour, which also brought it to Ljubljana. It will feature a mobile exhibition.
On Ljubljana City Square we will from May 8 onwards could observe wooden box, which bears a simple name Woodbox. It will feature an exhibition whose central point is future-oriented, urban construction. A wooden pavilion that resembles a shipping container has been on the road in European cities since March. It arrives in Ljubljana after stops in Milan and Bratislava. They always put it in the city center, where it points to potentials forward-looking wooden architecture in Europe. They also take place within the framework of the exhibition WOODDAYS events, which with lectures and presentations of best practices are devoted to the possibilities of wood as a construction material in the urban area. The tour looks at wood in relation to the growing, green cities of the future.
