Despite its small size, a wooden vacation home in California offers wonderful conditions for vacationing in nature.
Simple wooden holiday house in the US state of California is the result of an interesting collaboration between an architect and a plot owner. Architect Mason St. Peter years ago, he visited a friend's house and instantly fell in love with the tranquility of the location surrounded by the forest. He then asked a friend about the possibility of renting, and soon he built his own holiday home nearby.
Together with his wife, the artist Serena Mitnik-Miller, they built a small but comfortable house tucked away deep in the forest. The house offers visitors a small refuge in the middle of nature, but still allows for a lot opportunities to spend time outdoors. The facade is wooden and robustly finished, the square footage of the building is as small as possible, a large terrace stretches out in front of it, and the exterior and interior are connected through large openings. The interior is custom-made and highly functional, and the home accessories reflect the offerings of the owner-owned store. The house is proof that you don't need almost anything for a pleasant vacation!
