Matevž Lenarčič – pilot, alpinist, photographer and adventurer

Matevž Lenarčič has so far flown around the world three times with an ultralight aircraft, namely in 2004 and 2012 (with the Slovenian Pipistrel aircraft) and in 2016, when he took off from the Sečovlje airport in Portorož with the Aerospool Dynamic aircraft as part of the GreenLight WorldFlight project. In 2013, at the Flightglobal Achievement Awards in Paris, he was chosen as the best aviator of 2013 in fierce competition. He even beat superstar Felix Baumgartner, who impressed with a spectacular parachute jump from space during the same evaluation period.

Davo Krničar – mountaineer and extreme alpine skier

Since 1980, Davo Karničar has completed over a thousand mountaineering tours. He has skied many large alpine faces, both in Slovenia (Triglav, Jalovec, Špik...) and abroad (northeast face of the Eiger, east face of the Matterhorn...). In 2000, he became the first person in the world to ski from the top of Everest (8,848 meters above sea level), and by 2006 he had added the descent from the other highest peaks on all continents.

Peter Florjančič – inventor

The elder of Slovenian inventors, Peter Florjančič, is one of the most famous Slovenian inventors, and certainly the most prolific. He is the only one who has been doing this professionally all his life. He has about 400 patents, of which 41 "became flesh". Among his biggest innovations are the sprayer on a perfume bottle, frames for slides, a plastic zipper, a lighter with ignition on the side and a ski toboggan. In 1957, he also invented a car airbag, but he did not perfect it.

Peter Prevc became the first person to fly 250 meters on skis. He became the first ski jumper to collect all the most important laurels in one season and in the meantime broke many records.
