The UNESCO organization declared March 21 as the World Poetry Day (2019), which will also be held this year under the sign of literary events. Lovers of poetry, you will face a severe test, namely you will pay homage to it by reading for 24 hours without stopping. All that matters is that you come and help make this silly but slightly romantic idea a reality. The event will take place in three locations, and it will also be broadcast live, so you won't be able to avoid it in any way.
This year's World Poetry Day 2019 will be organized by (KOBAN, Ground floor, Trubar House of Literature and Tomaž Šalamun Poetry Center) marked especially crazy - together with poets from all over the country and the Council, you will be able to express your tribute to poetry in a special way, namely, you will spend 24 hours reading various works.
It doesn't matter if do you write poetry yourself or like to read it, the organizers invite everyone who poetry surrounds you in one way or another. Come and make it happen a silly but somewhat romantic idea. Yes, together we are able to recharge 24 hours with songs. Everyone performs after five minutes. The event will take place on three locations and will be broadcast live, so you can follow everywhere you go on the first day of spring this year.
The 24-hour event will last from one o'clock in the morning (March 21) until the next day (March 22):
