Two recent online incidents testify to the importance of good password protection. Make sure you are not one of the users with (too) bad password protection.
Adobe it is 4.10. announced that their system had been attacked and stolen 38 million user accounts and password. Among the latter, there were almost two million who had a sequence as their user password 123456. This week, online security team Spiderlab announced that it had uncovered a cybercriminal ring that owned 2 million passwords stolen and user accounts.
Among these, there were more "bad" than "good" passwords, and most of them were somewhere in the middle in terms of security. Spiderlab reports that most people still prefer easy-to-remember passwords over secure passwords. We pass it on to you 20 the most frequently used passwords in the event of an Adobe incident.
