The Icehotel in Jukkasjärva, Sweden, is the largest hotel of its kind in the world.
Every year they restructure it from snow and ice and invite different artists to design themed rooms where guests can spend the night and thus experience an adventure in sub-zero temperatures. This year, the twenty-fourth edition of the ice hotel, hides French charm in one of the suites. Luc Voisin and Mathieu Brison from the Parisian studio Les Ateliers de Germaine designed the suite in the spirit of a postcard from France. A room made of ice and snow summarizes the shapes of Parisian houses, roofs and chimneys, but of course it cannot be without Montmartre, one of the most famous Parisian areas, and the outline of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica.
