Years ago, a futuristic concept of the iPhone 8, which was supposed to have a transparent screen, circulated on the Internet, but its production never took place. However, this certainly aroused a great deal of interest and desire for realization among many technological giants. And so, a few years later, Xiaomi transferred the idea of a transparent screen to its smart OLED TV.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary, the company presented this to consumers Mi TV Lux OLED Transparent Edition. The screen measures 55 inches and has an extremely low-profile 5.7 mm thick body. It's part of a regular high-end OLED TV with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Atmos support, AI Master Smart Engine, 1ms response time and 10-bit color depth. When the screen is turned off, the screen returns to a fully transparent state.
Xiaomi Mi TV Lux OLED costs 7,198 dollars, and is currently only available to users in China.
